From Chaos to C.A.L.M.

A Beginner’s Guide to Mindfulness for Greater Calm, Clarity, Connection and Compassion

Course Summary

A Self-Paced Course for Professionals Who Give So Much to Others—
And Are Ready to Replenish Themselves

You dedicate yourself to serving others—whether in public service, healthcare, education, social services, family or community work—but sometimes at the expense of your own wellbeing.

If you're...

❌ pulled in too many directions,
❌ constantly switching between tasks without feeling fully present,
❌ lying awake with a racing mind, or
❌ burning out or emotionally drained because your reserves are depleted,

...these aren't signs of weakness or personal failures; they're natural responses to unbalanced demands of modern life, and signals that something needs to change.

From Chaos to C.A.L.M. offers evidence-based mindfulness and meditation practices designed specifically for professionals and care-takers who serve their communities and are ready to invest more in their own wellness while increasing capacity to show up for others.

Applying the C.A.L.M. Method— a mindfulness development framework inspired from 25+ years of practice and work with service-oriented professionals—you'll learn to:

✅ calm your mind and regulate your nervous system,
✅ strengthen your focus to be fully present with what matters,
✅ develop self-compassion as a sustainable foundation for caring for others, and
✅ cultivate appreciative joy that transforms your relationship with yourself, and with others

TESTIMONIALS

What were your initial expectations for this course, and how well were they met?

Justin

Director of Operations

The course exceeded my expectations by providing a comprehensive framework that addressed not just calming the mind but also cultivating positive qualities like compassion and appreciation. I appreciated how the course normalized struggles with mindfulness (like mind-wandering) while offering concrete solutions.

Which element of the C.A.L.M. framework (Centering, Anchoring, Loving, or Magnifying) had the most significant impact on you, and why?

Jillian

Coach, Consultant, & Facilitator

Mindful appreciation (Magnifying) ... As the practice continued I was filled with a sense of deep appreciation for my partner and the way they have been showing up in practice with me lately. I was overflowing with joy by the time the practice was over. That evening I shared the experience with my partner and shared more about my appreciation for their presence, practice, and compassion. Which led them to practice mindful appreciation with me - it was such a beautiful, gentle, and generous virtuous cycle - all catalyzed by Nathan's soul-touching voice and ageless wisdom. THANK YOU!

Mindfulness Guide | Mindful Leadership for Collective Wellness, Equity & Belonging

As a certified mindfulness meditation instructor and team development specialist for equity and belonging, I guide leaders, professionals, and care-takers who are dedicated to serving others to cultivate mindfulness skills that reduce stress, strengthen connection, and build individual and collective wellness.

Drawing from 25 years of practice, I've developed a framework - called the C.A.L.M. Method - that helps to make mindfulness accessible and practical to slow down from the chaotic pace of busy professionals to act with greater calm, clarity, and connection. The emphasis is on compassion—especially self-compassion—as a key ingredient for sustainable wellbeing.

My purpose is to support leaders, caretakers, and change-makers who give so much of themselves to others, in order to find balance and renewal through mindfulness practices that benefit both individual and collective wellness.
